Liverpool's art enthusiasts are invited to lunch at Marco Pierre White's restaurant for a special showcase event by dot-art. The event takes place on Weds 30 November, at the city's boutique Hotel Indigo and allows guests to enjoy a two-course meal while enjoying an illustrated talk from local artist Alistair Parker.
Alastair will showcase and explore his work giving an insight into his working process and the development and creation of his striking and unique works. Guests will also be given the opportunity to purchase some of the displayed pieces which include creative photographs of famous Liverpool landmarks.
Restaurant manager Gary Scott said: "We're very excited to be getting involved with the wonderful arts scene that Liverpool has to offer. As the leading hotel sponsor for the Liverpool Biennial we're committed to playing a part in supporting Liverpool's creative arts scene and hosting arts, music and exhibitions is something that we are looking to do more of over the coming months".
Dot-art's director Lucy Byrne, said: "With its bright and quirky interior décor, the restaurant at Hotel Indigo is the perfect setting for our Eat Art series of events. Alistair has focused on many of Liverpool's landmarks and people in his art. It only feels right to be holding this showcase in the heart of the city that has inspired his work."
The event is held at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill at 12:00pm on the 30th November and is priced at £20.00. The two course lunch menu and tickets are both available at www.eatartnovember11.eventbrite.com
