Liverpool Sound City have announced the second wave of new acts with Michael Kiwanuka, Mystery Jets and Ghostpoet set to join the likes of Professor Green, White Denim and Death In Vegas and many more at this year's three day festival.

Award winning vocal group Sense of Sound is offering Choirs from all musical backgrounds the opportunity to take part in the Voices Festival on Saturday 17 March. The three day celebration of a cappella singing set to take place at Liverpool’s Bluecoat and Black-E arts centres from Friday 16 – Sunday 18 March. Choirs at the Bluecoat will take place in the Hub at the Bluecoat.

The award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is upping sticks and coming to Knowsley. The world famous orchestra is performing a concert of hit songs from West End musicals at the new Knowsley Leisure and Cultural Park on Friday February 24, at 7.30pm.

Sound City has announced details of its first Expo industry event. The event will bring the newest and most forward-thinking exhibitors to the Echo Arena in Liverpool as part of the annual city music festival which takes place each May.
