BBC sound of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka came to The Kazimier this week as part of a UK tour. The singer songwriter played a spell binding set of songs from his forthcoming album 'Home Again' to the sell out crowd. Support came from The Staves. Sandi Thom brought her Guardian Angels label to The Picket on Sunday as part of the third day of Threshold festival's musical activities. Joining her were Ronan Boyle, Rob Gough, Natilie McCool, The Hummingbirds, Mr James and The Fifth Movement whose cinematic set, complete with mini orchestra was a highlight of the festival. Dave Humphreys was on hand to capture the action.

Threshold 2012 kicked of in style last night over on the Blade Factory Main stage, Are you Louche? brought local collective The Elementals set things alight witheir brand of Reggae, Ska, Jazz, Hip-Hop and everything in between. Our man Dave Humphreys got amongst the crowds

The official press and VIP launch party for Threshold Festival 2012 took place in the Blade Factory area of the Camp & Furnace, which will act as the main hub for this year's event. Festival directors Chris and Kaya Carney dedicated the festival to the multitude of volunteers that have made the event possible following the closure of the CUC in December.
