The 39 Steps, currently celebrating its sixth year at the West End’s Criterion Theatre, will tour the UK in 2013. Based on John Buchan’s 1914 spy thriller The Thirty Nine Steps, and adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow (Desmond Oliver Dingle/The National Theatre of Brent), the Olivier and Tony Award winning production.

Liverpool-born writer Jonathan Harvey comes back to his home town as Suranne Jones leads the cast of his acclaimed play Beautiful Thing, a glorious urban love story set over a long hot summer on a Thamesmead housing estate.
