The Liverpool Empire Theatre has announced a new ‘Ticket for a Tenner’ initiative aimed at the city’s ever growing student population, enabling those in education to see a host of top West End musicals, comedy and more for just £10 per ticket.
An exciting selection of shows are already confirmed as participating in the ‘Ticket for a Tenner’ scheme. From today, students can purchase special £10 tickets for the festive classic Scrooge (5-10 Dec), Monty Python musical comedy Spamalot (16-21 Jan), college-set smash hit Legally Blonde The Musical (7-11 Feb), and Matthew Bourne’s surreal and magical Nutcracker! (24 – 28 Jan)
£10 student tickets on many more shows across the Empire’s packed calendar are set to be announced across the coming weeks and on a continual basis from then on.
Those wishing to purchase £10 tickets for eligible shows must present valid college or university ID in person at the box office and are limited to 2 tickets per booking.
Andrew Rawlinson, General Manager at Liverpool Empire said: “Liverpool Empire is delighted to offer the city’s students the chance to see an eclectic range of top quality shows at a price to suit a student budget, encouraging them to engage with Liverpool’s excellent cultural offering and become acquainted with one of its iconic venues.
