Stars of Royal Court panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarves took to the streets of Liverpool this week to promote the festive show which opens on Dec 9th. Tina Malone of Shameless fame was joined by fellow cast members Pete Price, Juice FM’s Leanne Campbell, audition winner Lizzie Warburton and comedian Micky Finn.
The panto which opens on December 9th forms part of a two pronged festive programme as the theatre will also be running comedy show Little Scouse On The Prairie simultaniously through December and January!
Snow White will take place in the mornings and afternoons with Little Scouse taking over in the evenings.
Little Scouse On The Prairie is this year’s rip-roaring comedy from Fred Lawless. The team who brought you Merry Ding Dong and Scouse Pacific are at it again with a comedy that is packed with music, silly jokes and some rude words.
Kevin Fearon, Chief Executive at Royal Court Liverpool, is feeling Christmassy already: “The original plan was just to run one show and, following the success of Scouse Pacific, we had Fred Lawless’ Little Scouse On The Prairie ready to go. As soon as we realized that there would not be a traditional panto in Liverpool then we felt we had to step in. By running two shows at once we have got something for everyone this Christmas.”
Snow White And The Seven Dwarves runs from 9 December 2011 to 8 January 2012 and tickets are available from £10
Little Scouse On The Prairie runs from 26 November 2011 to 7 January 2012 and tickets are available from £12
Tickets and information for all productions are available from www.royalcourtliverpool.com or on 0870 787 1866
