This is a great opportunity for young performers to appear on the famous Empire stage in a fabulous production of one of the best loved musicals of all time. The King’s children are an integral part of this classic story and always a favourite with audiences.

Boys and girls aged 5 - 14 years and of all ethnicities are invited to apply. Candidates must have dark hair and the ability to sing and dance. No previous experience is necessary, just a great deal of energy and enthusiasm!

Candidates must be available to attend the following audition times (applicable to their age):

Saturday 19th November
8.30am – 11am Girls and Boys aged 5 – 8 years
11am – 1.30pm Girls and Boys aged 9 - 14

Audition Location: The Liverpool Empire Theatre, Lime Street, Liverpool L1 1JE

Those wishing to audition MUST pre-register by completing and returning an application form and two passport sized photographs no later than 6pm Thursday 17th November.  Application forms can be downloaded via the Empire website or alternatively email natalieflynn@theambassadors.com.

Young people will be notified by email within two weeks from the audition as to whether they have been chosen to be part of the cast of The King and I.

Rehearsals will be held in Liverpool in March 2012. Those chosen must be in available for the rehearsal period from 16 – 18th March and for the full run of the show 2nd – 7th April 2012, (each child will perform in a maximum of 4 shows).
